“Medical Breakthrough – Scientists hail new drug’s potential”

On 18th August 2008, The Age released a publication reporting on the success of Fibrotech’s scientists and their development of the drug, FT011, that may prevent the progression of fibrosis of the heart, kidney’s, lung and liver, which has been reported to be responsible for up to 45% of all deaths in the Western world. The article highlights the international enthusiasm for the development of FT011, including the award of a US Government grant pledging $3 milllion to accelerate Fibotech’s non clinical development
